S13/S20/S22-M-30–2500/10 Oil-Immersed Power Transformer
——
Product Overview
The transformer is designed with a hermetically sealed tank, fully isolated from the external atmosphere.Oil volume variations are accommodated by the elastic deformation of the corrugated tank walls, eliminating direct contact between the insulating oil and ambient air. This construction minimizes moisture ingress and oxidation, extending insulation life
The sealed construction eliminates the need for core lifting inspection prior to commissioning and significantly reduces maintenance requirements during service, contributing to improved operational reliability.
Designed with PCCAD software, the transformer complies with IEC 60076 and GB 1094 standards.Manufacturing is carried out under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system.
The coil is wound with high-strength enameled conductors(or paper-insulated conductors)in cylindrical or disc-type configurations. The ampere-turn distribution is uniform, and the insulation system is optimized to provide high short-circuit withstand capability.
All internal fasteners are secured with self-locking nuts to maintain long-term mechanical integrity under light, thermal and electrical stresses. The transformer is equipped with“telemetry”signal thermometer and a pressure relief valve to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Market Development Trends of Natural Ester
Natural ester–based insulating fluids are widely recognized as environmentally friendly and less-flammable dielectric liquids.Relevant industry standards have been issued, including ASTM D6871,IEEE C57.147,ABNT NBR 15422,and applicable IEC specifications.
Natural ester fluids are recognized by the U.S.National Electrical Code(NEC)and have received approvals from FM Global and Underwriters Laboratories(UL).They are also acknowledged by the U.S.Environmental Protection Agency(EPA)for their environmental benefits.
Excellent biodegradability contributes to reduced environmental impact.
- Although additional secondary containment tanks may be required, natural ester spills can be managed using conventional cleanup methods without being treated as hazardous waste.
- The use of natural ester insulating fluid helps reduce environmental compliance risks and simplifies spill management procedures.
Fire Performance
- The vegetable oil–based insulating fluid has a fire point exceeding 350°C,significantly higher than the 300°C minimum required by IEC,GB,and NEC standards, greatly enhancing transformer and power system safety.
- Tested in accordance with ASTM International ASTM D1354,the vegetable oil demonstrates superior performance compared to mineral oil in terms of ignition time,self-extinguishing time, and smoke generation rate.
- According to UL,vegetable oil insulating fluid carries a fire risk rating of Level 4–5,significantly lower than the Level 10–20 classification of paraffin-based mineral oil.
- NEC 450-23 further recognizes high fire point liquid-filled transformers, permitting their use in indoor applications requiring enhanced fire protection.
Enhanced Fire Safety
- Natural ester insulating fluid enhances transformer fire safety and reduces the risk of fire-related incidents, thereby minimizing potential economic losses such as equipment damage, repair and replacement costs, and liabilities associated with power outages.
- With the use of natural ester insulating fluid, fire safety requirements may be optimized where space is limited. In certain applications and subject to local code approval, the need for additional fire protection measures such as sprinkler systems or firewalls may be reduced.Natural ester–filled transformers are therefore suitable for indoor installations or confined spaces.
Excellent Moisture Tolerance
- Compared with mineral oil, natural ester insulating fluid exhibits a significantly higher water saturation limit at all operating temperatures.Under normal service conditions, its moisture saturation level is typically 5 to 8 times greater than that of mineral oil.
- In natural ester–based insulation systems, the equilibrium moisture content in cellulose insulation is lower than that in mineral oil systems.During hot oil drying processes, natural ester–impregnated units may achieve reduced drying time, improving manufacturing efficiency and insulation performance.
Extended Life Expectancy & Improved Overload Capability
- Compared with mineral oil–impregnated paper systems, natural ester–impregnated cellulose insulation exhibits a lower thermal aging rate.As a result, the insulation system life expectancy is extended, contributing to increased transformer service life and enhanced overload capability.
- Natural ester–impregnated cellulose insulation enables transformers to operate at higher peak or overload conditions.Compared with mineral oil/paper systems,it can operate at hot-spot temperatures approximately 10–15°C higher while maintaining equivalent life expectancy.
S13/S14-M·ZT Smart On-load Automatic Capacity & Voltage Regulating Distribution Transformer
——
Product Overview
The S13 three-phase oil-immersed on-load capacity and voltage regulating distribution transformer is a new-generation energy-efficient product. Its performance complies with the Energy Efficiency Class II requirements specified in the China National Standard(GB).
The transformer adjusts its operating capacity in response to seasonal or cyclical load variations through an on-load capacity and voltage regulating switch.By optimizing capacity selection, transformer losses are effectively reduced, delivering significant energy-saving benefits.
Applications
For many years, rural power distribution networks have been characterized by dispersed loads, strong seasonal variation, and low average load factors.
Conventional distribution transformers are typically selected based on maximum load demand.Under low-load conditions, transformers often experience extended periods of no-load or light-load operation, resulting in relatively high inherent losses.
Therefore, transformers selected for rural grid construction and upgrading should match the specific load characteristics of rural networks. The transformer should be capable of adjusting its capacity according to actual load conditions in order to reduce both no-load losses(internal losses)and load losses.
At the same time, the installed distribution transformer must ensure advanced technical performance and reliable operation, meeting both current requirements and future development needs over the coming years.
Our S13 on-load capacity and voltage regulating transformer is developed as an energy-efficient solution based on adaptive load management principles. It automatically adjusts voltage and capacity in response to grid voltage and load fluctuations, ensuring stable power quality while reducing no-load losses.Equipped with remote communication capabilities, the transformer supports real-time monitoring and operational control through mobile applications and smart management systems.
Product Features
- Automatic Voltage Regulation
When voltage fluctuations occur due to unstable user demand or line load variations, the transformer automatically adjusts voltage levels to maintain stable output.
This function improves power supply quality, extends the service life of electrical equipment, and enhances voltage compliance rates during peak and off-peak load periods within the distribution network.
- Automatic Capacity Regulation
The transformer automatically adjusts its operating capacity according to load demand.During low-load periods,it switches to a reduced-capacity mode, significantly lowering no-load losses.
In reduced-capacity operation,no-load losses are approximately one-third of those under full-capacity conditions, resulting in substantial energy savings.
- Distribution Monitoring&Wireless Four Remote Functions
The on-load capacity and voltage regulating switch supports multiple wireless communication methods, including Wi-Fi,GSM,and GPRS.
It enables real-time monitoring, remote control of transformer operating status, parameter viewing and modification, and supports remote measurement, remote signalling, remote control and remote regulation functions.
This allows automated management of distribution transformer zones within the power network.
