Product Overview
The DFW Outdoor Medium-Voltage Ring Main Unit(RMU)/Compact Switching Station is a distribution device designed in compliance with the primary–secondary integrated standardization requirements.
It integrates primary equipment(ring main unit),high-precision sensors,a centralized secondary automation terminal(DTU),enclosure,and connection cables into one integrated system.
With the effective integration of primary and secondary equipment,the unit features high reliability,efficient integration,standardized design,intelligent distribution functions,modularized structure,flexible equipment interchangeability,and convenient operation and maintenance.
The product is widely used in 12 kV distribution networks for ring network power supply,automatic fault isolation,and feeder sectionalizing,improving the reliability and automation level of the power distribution system.

Product Features
The enclosure of the DFW Outdoor Medium-Voltage Ring Main Unit(RMU)/Compact Switching Station manufactured from materials such as Q235 steel,S304 stainless steel,or GRC(glass fiber reinforced cement)with a thickness of≥2 mm.The enclosure ensures adequate mechanical strength and provides a protection rating of at least IP44.
The cabinet is equipped with QGC series fully insulated ring main units,providing flexible solutions for power supply and distribution system design.
The enclosure is equipped with a Distribution Terminal Unit(DTU).The DTU feeder unit provides three remote functions(telemetry,remote signalling,and remote control),line loss data acquisition,phase-to-phase and earth fault processing,and communication with the DTU central unit.
The product is designed with adequate natural ventilation and thermal insulation measures to ensure that,under specified operating conditions,the temperature rise of all electrical equipment remains within allowable limits.
